We offer a wide range of services, from groundworks, concreting and drainage, working across the Scottish Borders and beyond.

We have a dedicated department for each of our services, and they can all be used independently from our construction services. Meaning you don’t have to worry about sourcing any additional contractors, as we can do all the work for you and you will have a stress-free construction process.

While we primarily service the Scottish Borders, we are more than happy to travel to your project. We have worked everywhere between Inverness in the North of Scotland to Dorset in the South of England.

FAQS - Civils

Will I have a dedicated Project Manager?

Yes, when you first agree the estimate, you will be assigned a Project Manager from our team who will come out to meet you with our CAD technician. At this initial meeting, you will see the first draft of your drawings, and go over the final details of your project and discuss the next steps.

How do our Project Managers work?

What’s even better, we have our own dedicated project managers who will be assigned to your project and will ensure each step runs smoothly and to your deadline, resolving any minor issues that may arise along the way, without adding anything extra to your already overflowing cup. This will also be your point of contact throughout the project, so when you have any questions or concerns, you know who to turn to for advice. Our Project Managers have decades of experience in the industry, one of whom have worked with the company for over 40 years! So, you can feel confident your project is in safe hands.

How can I be sure my Project will be completed on time?

With any project, it is normal for issues to arise along the way that no one has any control over, such as drastic changes to the weather (we do live in Scotland after all), delayed supplies or staff illnesses. We will do our best to look out for these issues arising before they happen, and put a contingency plan in place to ensure this does not affect the proposed timeline. However, if the unlikely event means this will delay the completion date, we will be sure to notify you as soon as we are aware.
However, this is talking worst case scenario, and we have a fantastic success rate for completing projects in the timeframe that we estimate for in initial quote. If you have a specific deadline you need to meet, ensure you make us aware of this during the quotation stage, so we can best plan.

Can you demolish buildings, before you erect new ones?

Of course we can, demolition is one of the main services our Groundworks team can offer. What is even better, is we will keep the materials from the demolition and crush it down to stone, in case you would like to use the materials for another project, such as resurfacing. What Civil works do you offer?

We offer a range of different civil works which will aid in your construction project. Equally, you can use any of our civil services independently from our construction services. For example, if you simply require some ground levelled off and concreted, we can do this for you. You can discover our full range of services further up the page.
