GET IN TOUCH

Our workshop team are highly experienced in a number of engineering areas, one of these being precision engineering. We have team members who have over 20 years of experience in this field, ensuring that all projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standard.

Our Machining work is carried out at our newly renovated workshop in Berwick-Upon Tweed, servicing our customers across the Scottish Borders and North Northumberland.

Lathe & Milling

Machining is the process of cutting down metal using machinery; we specifically use a Lathe and Milling Machinery.

Our Lathe has CNC capabilities, meaning we can optimise workload, reduce labour needs and dramatically improve project timescales. The Lathe has manual and CNC settings, and the bed is 1.7 metres long but can accommodate jobs much longer if required.

Additionally, we have a Milling machine, with three axels (up, down, back & forward), a 750mm travel and various hole size options. The benefit of the Milling machine is it is extremely accurate; therefore, it can create multiple exact matches. It also reduces the labour time of manually marking out each individual hole that is required on each job. We can also do various size keyways with either metric or imperial cutters.

Please get in touch to discuss any machining work you require.
