Voortman MSI Machinery
To ensure our fabrication team work efficiently and effectively, in 2022 we invested in the Voortman MSI machinery, a fully automated integrated production line which increases our steel output and optimises our production process.
The production line is made up of a robotic cutting machine, steel shot blasting machine and plate cutting processor. All these machines together have helped us to increase productivity, efficiency and more importantly quality.

Shot Blasting
Shot blasting is the process of cleaning the steel surface before being welded and painted. Removing metal oxide, mill scale and other contaminates, creating an easier and more streamlined process in the workshop, and allowing the team to dedicate more time to the welding, while also making sure the surface is clean prior to painting.
Robotic Cutting Machine
The Voortman V807 combines a number of processes into one machine which allows u to fabricate a wide variety of products faster, more efficiently and more accurately.From copes and bolt holes, to slots, bevels, weld preparation and layout marking. We can now provide steelwork including box sections, angles, beams and channels 4x faster than traditional methods.
