What do our grain handling systems include?
A grain handling system is a comprehensive network of equipment and processes designed to efficiently manage the movement and processing of grain from drying to storage and make the process more efficient and less labour intensive.
The purpose of the system is to reduce the number of times you need to handle the grain. After a system has been installed, you should only have to handle the product to load it into the dryer/intake pit and the lorry.
There are a number of different pieces of equipment that we will choose from to create a system that targets your requirements, as well as ensuring safe and effective handling:
- Conveyors
- Elevators
- Silos
- Cleaning machinery
- Intake pit
We have also started utilising advanced technology into our most recent systems, including automated controls and monitoring systems, to improve accuracy and efficiency, ensuring that grains are handled with care and precision. Without having to constantly monitor the process in person.

What are the benefits of a Grain Handling system?
By optimising the flow of grain, our handling systems provide a whole host of benefits to the farm, such as:
Enhance productivity – You can achieve higher throughput and quicker turnaround times with a system, boosting overall productivity.
Reduce labour costs – Due to the automation, minimised downtime and improved workflow there is less requirement for time spent on manual tasks.
Minimise spoilage and contamination – Through advanced cleaning equipment, the controlled storing environment and the regular monitoring through technology there is a reduced chance of contamination in your crop.
Remote working capabilities - The beauty of a handling system is it allows you to work remotely. With no system there would need to be someone on the farm full time throughout harvest.
Greater ROI - By maximising efficiency, reducing costs, and preserving product quality, a grain handling system can significantly improve profitability and generate a higher return on investment for your agricultural operations.
