Agricultural buildings

With many years’ experience in the design, manufacture, and erection of bespoke projects, we can supply you with a complete design and build project.

Our Design and Technical staff are trained to meet Construction Design & Management (CDM) regulations and are also NEBOSH trained.

All our buildings are designed and manufactured to comply to British Standard EN1090 and are UK CA marked with all cladding material to a similar standard.

We will assist with the planning and designing of your building, and offer technical advice on cladding specifications, finishes, insulation values, groundwork, internal and building work.

Fabrication Services

With over 50 years in the industry, we have the experience to undertake all types of fabrication work – whether agricultural, industrial or commercial, in steel, aluminium or stainless steel.

Our extensive workshop is equipped with modern Lathes, Milling Machines, Shear and Press Brake, Box Pan Folder and other fabrication machinery ensuring we have the tools to deliver first class workmanship.

What is a Farm Building?

There are a number of different farm buildings, all designed with different purposes in mind and to suit different types of farms. For example a cattle farm will need a cattle court, to house the animals through the winter, they also may need a straw shed to store the animals feed. However, an arable farm could need a General Purpose Building to house their machinery and a Grain Store, to house their crop during harvest.

What is a Farm Building called?

Farm Building is the generic name given to any building on a farm, this can often sometimes be referred to as a farm shed, agricultural building or agricultural shed.

Depending on the purpose of the building, it will be given a different name, for example if the purpose is to house cattle, then it will be called a cattle court or if it is to store crop after harvest then it will be called a Grain Store.
